    Cause: Either the call to the web language program specified an invalid cursor, or the value of the actual MAXOPENCURSORS option in the precompiler was too small. All cursors must be opened with an OOPEN phone call before they can be referenced in any of the following calls: SQL, DESCRIBE, NAME, DEFINE, BIND, EXEC, FETCH, and CLOSE.

    When getting the cursor model, I get all the errors. I’m just wondering what all the possible reasons could be. The stored procedure returning the cursor is correct. I use the following laws:

    The very first cursor works fine, but I will get a cursor with an error, i.e. 2.

    I was trying to implement a property that receives a REFCURSOR and manipulates the data.

    var some_cursor:some_cursor REFCURSOR;exec := SCHEME.test_getcursor;print some_cursor;variable res varchar2;exec:ers:= SCHEMA.second_function(:some_cursor, 'Other_parameter');print res;

    Each first test_getcursor function is a simple function that OPENS each cursor, fetches, and queries the cursor. It works better and gives some_cursor right next to it.

    The problem occurs when I call second_function and pass it this refcursor.

    enter cursor_rowSAVE(field_1 any_field1%type, field_2 a_field2% type, field_3 some_field3%type); line_cursor;BEGINRIBBONget new_row PASSED_IN_REFCURSOR INTO new_row - the function does not work manipulation...EXIT IF LOOP;CLOSEpass_in_refcursor%notfound;End of PASSED_IN_REFCURSOR;END;

    I’m sure the type I created has the same high number of rows and throughput types as the reference slider.

    What am I doing wrong with this statement? I am using 10g, Oracle PL/SQL 10.2

    cst is equal to conx.prepareCall(“calling OFFNAMES_READ(?,?,?,?)”);

    ref cursor is invalid

    cst.registerOutParameter(2, oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleTypes.CURSOR);

    I have a query similar to the following:

    select department_id, cursor (select employee_id from the list of employees where department_id = d.department_id) business units d

    I expect to get multiple rows, I want this option to be selected in any nested array variable (another nested array classification) to be retrieved, large sample sizes are the output parameter in this procedure. I have some doubts:
    I have to. What I’m creating is an internal nested table column that will probably store the result of its referenced cursor? Link to course columnora? Variant of Colonne Adrien?
    2. If the emoji in the nested table where the experts claim to contain the result of a particular referencing cursor is another table, then how can I write the result to a particular volume with the whole query?

    (I want to collect information in one query, I already know how to implement it with pl/sql, don’t inflate it, use two stacked for loops, I need to avoid this).

    Thanks in advance.

  • This is absolutely easier:

    How do you declare a ref cursor?

    Name: DEP_ID, direction: name IN, data type: select NUMBER.Name: EMPLOYEES_C, direction: select OUT, data type: select SYS_REFCURSOR.Name: DEPENDENTS_C, directedEx: OUT, data type: select SYS_REFCURSOR.

    explain   Enter dep_emp_list_tbl_type      it's just a sys.OdciVarchar2List table;   V_dep_emp_list_tbl dep_emp_list_tbl_type;    v_dep_id_tbl sys.OdciNumberList;begin    select from Department_id, cast(multiset (select employee_id besides hr.employees where Department_id = d.department_id) as sys.OdciVarchar2List)      collect a lot in v_dep_id_tbl,v_dep_emp_list_tbl      HR departments;End;//

    VERSION 4.2

    The above element will be over 2 years old. The features provided in the above link are valid today if we want to resolvesew them to create a report area in our own APEX based on the fact that the function returns a reference cursor? Are there any improvements in this area suitable for upcoming APEX 5.0 and/or Oracle 12 information?

    Thank you

    The article above is 2 years old. Are the methods shown in the link above still applicable today if one wants to try and create a reporting area in APEX based on a function that returns a pointer cursor?

    If the element returns that the pointing cursor is usually just a hotspot where users have data, then yes, that’s likely. If you’re working directly with the underlying database objects and/or the function is simple, you might be better off writing your own program that returns an SQL data source.

    How do you see the output of a ref cursor?

    By using the classic SQL*PLUS PRINT command in a view, refcursor output in SQL Developer works the same way the concept would work in your command queue tools. You run your program, the person creates a local variable or c variable to “catch” the output, and maybe you print it out.

    Everything related to the dynamics of the target sliders, I have now divided into several layers with a function to create dynamic sql and bind the public parameters of a specific target slider. Then appliedI APEX can earn income from the sale of features. The SQL query in the body of the function returns the sources of information about the SQL query (if you make sure that the attached variable names are not suitable for the APEX point).

    What is the difference between cursor and ref cursor?

    A cursor is literally any SQL statement that performs DML (select, insert, update, delete) on your database. The reference cursor must be a pointer to the end result. This is typically used to open a query against a database server and then let someone else’s client get the desired result.
